Access to quality aerial photos from 40-years ago is rare. These were scanned from 8x10 prints donated by Chattanooga based CBL Properties.
In 1978 Charles B. Lebovitz and five associates formed CBL & Associates Inc. to develop regional malls and community shopping centers. The photos here represent a time of careful planning as CBL began construction of its flagship mall, Hamilton Place.
Today, CBL operates over 75 malls & shopping centers in 21 states.
